Ah...comic book movies. Where would we be without thee? As a film genre, comic book movies tend to be hit or miss. While some are excellent (the Dark Knight), others are downright abysmal (Daredevil), but most are perfectly acceptable and entertaining. Such is the case with the Incredible Hulk, a surprisingly good film. In this episode, Chuck and I talk the Incredible Hulk, giving it our usual excruciatingly detailed review treatment. Really?

Okay, so UFC 89 may not have been the greatest MMA event of all time, but at least it was free. The lack of marquee fighters and a preponderance of slow, methodical contests really dragged this card down. Yet these troubling facts do little to deter Shawn and I from providing another entertaining episode of the Monolith Podcast. Yes, even on a lackluster UFC show, we still provide substantive analysis (in my own humble opinion.) And as always, we have Shawn's NFL week 7 picks. After our last show, Chuck and I are back with a vengeance! On this genetically enhanced episode, we're talking about stuff that really matters...movies and football. Political talk is nowhere to be found and the show is better as a result. In Episode 8, we review Chris Bell's documentary film Bigger, Stronger, Faster (not a porno) and Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train (also not a porno.) Monolith Podcast - Episode 7: McCain - Obama Second Presidential Debate

Eh..., they can't all be home runs. Today's episode recaps the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain. Our overall lack of enthusiasm and indifference in this episode should give you an idea of how these two candidates came across tonight (dull and uninspiring.) This is not our best episode, but listenable nonetheless (I'm not much of a salesman, but I'm honest.)
